Announcing a new arrival....Thistle!

I was really paranoid about adopting another pet after my last disastrous attempt a year ago, so didn't want to say anything until I was pretty sure I it would work.
CArolinagal and I visited the Humane Society in Ocala, and she helped me pick out Thistle. This is his mug shot from the shelter.
Here he is looking happier in his new home.
So far so good...

Oh Liz I'm so happy for you and Thistle! He is really cute and has a sweet look in his eyes.

Hi Thistle,
We just wanted to welcome you to the group. I know that you must be so full of excitement and overwhelmed a little starting out on this new adventure. But you did pick one of the best dog folks we know. It won't be long before this moving around in a house on wheels is just home....but the excitement about new adventures...may that remain with you always!

He is such a sweet little fella, loves his walks and I'm so glad he is being recognized as Liz's new traveling and hiking buddy.
We'll all have to walk our own dogs now, she has her doggy fix

He is definitely a cutie - such a sweet face. Life is so much better with pets. I'm so glad I brought Baxter home and he's good for Sophie - makes her play more. Can hardly wait to meet your new furbaby.

Hi, Thistle....welcome to the group.....I'm so glad to be seeing more "guy" pups joining the gang...don't get me wrong, love the girls, but we've been out numbered at times...lol.....Miss Liz is a great person to share your new life with....and she is so much fun......Hope to meet you in person soon.....
