ok, so Gracie gets the tummy upsets often,( doggy IBS ) and the last two days she had a spell again with the mucosy diarrhea. well this morning
she has a bad bm and some of it off her pad on the tile floor, I look over and what do I see but this big worm crawling around in the poop. OMG!!
I have to take her to the vet, but I have to go to work. So I scoop up the worm and poop in a tissue and pop it in a ziplock and decide I can run
over to the vet on my break at 8:30 and do my freaking out there. This worm is about an inch long and looks like a grub. I ask the vet if I should
bring Gracie in when I get off work and have her seen or if I can just get some otc worm medicine, you know the routine. He looks at it and
says, not to worry, its not a dog worm it really is a grub and probably came in the window and Gracie just happened to poop ON it. LOL
I love that vet clinic, they have always been so good to my pocketbook. The could have said yes, bring her in and spend money.
I did ask for a refil of her tummy medicine while I was in there cause its almost empty, cost me a whole $5.
