Here's our Maggie!
Maggie was adopted from the Williamson County SPCA in March 2010. She's a 14.5-lb Lhasa Apso/? mix, great traveler, smart as a whip, and just our wee Energizer Bunny Sugar Bowl! <--- is that sappy or what? She loves seeing new places, meeting new friends, going on patrol and taking part in whatever else we might be doing. She's just a little over two years old now.

Maggie is adorable. And I just love even more that she's a rescue.
And I just finished posting to your intro - saying we love pictures - and discover you've already got a handle on it!

I just replied to your intro post and thought you were calling me!!!!!
When my niece was just a toddler, their neighbor had a yellow lab named Maggie. One time when my sister was talking to me on the phone, they were out on the deck. Sis asked niece if she wanted to talk to Maggie - niece toddles over to the fence and yells, "Maggie!" Here Maggie!" Of course, I could hear this and my sister almost dropping the phone!

Maggie is just adorable. My Lhasa Apso was white with a little tan and definitely had the Lhasatude - does Maggie have that attitude? My Lhasa was a mellow doggie though.
Oh, welcome to the forum.

Linda,
Maggie doesn't really have a "tude" but she can be the drama queen if she gets a sticker in her paw, etc. Lordy, that pup has some lungs, I tell ya!
Cheers!

Maggie is adorable for sure...doesn't it just warm our hearts to hear the stories of rescue. Rudy is half Shih Tzu (found his mom on the highway in terrible shape and very pregnant) and I was hoping he would top out at about 15 lbs. He is now 26 lbs..and very aggressive and competitive...his dad, no doubt, the leader of the pack!

First, WELCOME TO THE FORUM, Betty! I haven't had the time to check in at the intro room lately, so if there are any others out there I haven't welcomed, welcome to you all!
Maggie is sure a ittle beauty, and I am so thankful you adopted her! So many of our pets have come from rescue places, which is such an honorable way to acquire our wonderful pets.....not that other ways are not honorable, too, but......I like to hear about rescued critters most of all!
SO glad you joined our group, and I hope to meet you down the road before too many moons pass.

Your new friend,

Sophie (the black and white one) and Buddy (the Big guy) welcome you and so does our hooman. Both of us were rescues, too.
