Posted: Fri Nov 25, 2011 11:07 amSigh! "Happiness is a warm puppy" is one of my most favorite book titles, and this puts it to life! Sure did make me smile. Why are puppies such lovable little furry creatures? And I can smell that wonderful puppy breath when I watch that video!

Posted: Fri Nov 25, 2011 9:00 pmOkay, I want them ALL. Oh, if only someone could bottle puppy breath! I would love to volunteer at a shelter but I'm afraid I have no willpower and would end up with a million dogs. At my age I worry about my dogs outliving me. My daughter already has a house (and yard) full of cats and only had two dogs until my granddaughter moved back home with her horse and two dogs. She lives at the end of a country road and people keep dumping cats. She catches them and has them fixed but as you all know, its almost impossible to find homes for adult cats. A few months ago someone dumped a mama and three baby kittens - all blue-eyed sealpoint siamese (sp) and by the time she caught them to get them fixed they were beyond the "cute" stage.

Posted: Sat Nov 26, 2011 9:06 amThere must be something in the "puppy breath" thing because most people comment about it, and my SIL giggles like a little girl when he plays with my dog (who is not a puppy) because he says a dog's breath just makes him giggle. Perhaps it's just the joy and unconditional love they give that makes us giddy.
