They're not thrilled, but it smells familiar. There's a bit of sniffing things, but, right now, there's mostly hiding under things. I showed them the food, water and litter box and just shut the door and walked away for now. Let them figure it out.

Should be interesting, trying to sleep tonight, with cats jumping up and down on things, examining the new space.

But we're ALL sleeping in the trailer tonight!

Cats do adapt well. I'm sure they'll be happy to sleep with you.

as long as they have familiar smells they will adapt and figure it all out.

Mine jumps on me in the middle of the night and he has lived here for years There are times I shut the door just to get the wild night lurking panther in the other room.....

I can't shut mine out of a room or they try to tear the door down and I can't sleep for the noise. We have the lever type door handles and one has learned how to open them.

When I have my trailer, my Manx, T'Siri, will be touring with me. She will have her shots, microchip, tags, vet papers and everything she needs. I designed her an outdoor run which can be broken down and stored. Of course, I'll never leave her unattended. She's pretty cool about being outside on a leash and harness. In the back yard, that is. I'll start out by sleeping in the trailer in the driveway first, then hitting the road with her. She should be okay.

Of course, a "healthy" supply of catnip will be a must. My little "nip head" has a habit. And her toys, and treats- hey, wait a minute- where will I put my stuff?

Cats are cool to travel with.
