Remi's turn on the water....

Herschel again.....
Somehow I got voted dog most likely to be able to keep Remi in the kayak. He thinks I will protect him. Remi is not a fan of water. I am not totally sold on this kayak thing that moves under my feet either, but for the GHL I will cooperate. I have to admit that once I get out there I do enjoy sniffing the breeze and watching water and the shoreline. She also does let me swim in the lake so I guess I can keep her company. You never know when one of those ski boats might forget to turn and she needs me to rescue her like some Neufie!
First off the GHL had to lift Remi into the kayak. There was no way he was volunteering. He was a bit needy and stuck real close at first....as on top of us!
After a while Remi began to get interested in what was happening around him. That, or he was trying to remember if he knew how to fly and get back on shore.
We got to see shorelines, dead trees and hikers on some of the points. There were big boats on this lake with wakes but it really didn't bother either of us. we just enjoyed the scenery.
"Will I ever get to walk on dry land again?" Sighs Remi.
"It's not like I couldn't find her a dead tree or two on land! I'm a dog I know trees "
Apparently the dragon flies liked my life jacket.
Well as you can see Remi decided since he wasn't going to get wet that the adventure was "okay" as long as he didn't have to ride with the wiggle butt Stuart dog. I have to admit the little Remi dog is a good buddy!
