Bandit's New Screen Enclosure

Postby Liz » Thu Aug 12, 2010 5:35 am

After Jenny posted about the enclosure she got for her cats, I looked online for it, but found this one I liked even more:

It stores about the same as a folding chair.

It's as easy as 1-2-3 to set up:

Ok, 4, if you secure it with the pegs. Don't want Bandit to blow into the lake.

All set up.

Add cat.

And voila!

That's really cute! Can he scratch it with his claws tho? I'm sure he'll get used to it soon. My cat would like it. Maybe you could add a little bed in there.

That is really cool. From the shots on how it sets up, looks like one of those food tents for outdoor eating, except giant size!

I'm sure Bandit is happy to be off leash. You are a good Momma!

Does it have a cover for the top to keep the sun off him?

No cover. I bring him inside if it's too hot. Could put it in the shade or throw a towel over the top I guess.

I was there - taking the pictures - and Bandit wasn't unhappy. Just was checking out his perimeters. It's really cute.

That's what I was wondering too. I noticed that the bottom is mesh too, so claws could get caught in it if they are extended. At first I thought it would be good for ferrets, but then realized they would have it shredded in no time! Bandit looks pretty laid back so I am sure he is content and comfy out there!

Or if a cat would decide it wanted to climb...

Do ferrets climb (like cats can...)???
