Ok, here is the new folding pen with all three of the guys enjoying the sunshine together. I'm also working on changing my signature picture.

This morning the really nice couple behind me were petting Sophie and she said to her husband, "Maybe we should think about getting a dog like this one." I IMMEDIATELY said I was keeping her. So much for finding her a good home. She's feeling and moving much better today after her surgery yesterday. I don't like the seditive they use on dogs - takes them way too long to come out of it.

I just knew you wouldn't be able to part with that sweetie. She even looks like a good dog. I just noticed her long tail is maybe there's a bit of bird dog in the mix. I'm so glad your other dogs were such good sports about sharing their mom and their home.

Great way for them to enjoy some sun.
Was wondering about stability of those pens (if he ever gets to travel with me, would need something like that for Nicky)- looks as if the larger dogs could knock it over without too much effort.

Sarah, I know that you can stake the bottoms. Large and/or powerful dogs probably could knock it down. I have also met smaller dogs that simply climb up the wall and scale their way out (an English Cocker I had in the '90's :? ). It is not a form of restriction that should be used unless you are there with your dogs...especially when you first use them and observe how you dog acts in them. Few campgrounds allow leaving dogs out unattended so the X-pens work for many. I also have a shade tarp that I can clip to the top of the pen (or an edge of an awning) that provide shade for pups when the pen is out in the sun.....

So happy to see you've decided to keep her....lucky I wasn't around...I would have had to snatch her away...I just fall in love with that widdle face every time I see pictures of her. Then DH has to ruin it all by saying "don't even think about it!" better be careful...I'm flying out to San Antonio this Sunday... ;) Hide her away quick quick quick ;)
