Yesterday I saw two dogs running loose in the park. I went outside and the brown one ran off towards Junction Highway but this little lady came up, sat down and looked at me. At first I thought she was a puppy but shes obviously had puppies. I walked round a little with her trying to find out if anyone had seen where they came from. She happily followed me and no one saw where they came from. I thought I'd have no choice but to call animal control to pick her up and she'd be dead in three days. Then Phyllis, a lady who lives inone of the park models here and had recently had to put her longtime pet to sleep, came out to see what was going on. Well it was love at first sight. This little girl is just as sweet as her face shows and wants nothing more than to be right next to a human and get her belly rubbed. The following picture is of her on the sofa. She slept for two hours, drank a little water and slept for another two hours. She had no collar but seems well trained. Phyllis is going to check the paper for a lost dog ad but is already planninfg on having her fixed. I said I would go halves with her on the vet bill. Buddy and Sassy are just lucky they don't have a little sister to put up with. This is one of the sweetest (not counting mine) dogs I've ever met.

The sad ending is that a little later when I left to go to Walmart the other brown dog had been hit and killed on the highway thus how Lucky Lulu got her name.
