Aw - and yep, that last pic is a keeper. When I used to walk Tips and Moxie (both now gone) I would have to make sure that I kept them far enough apart when I saw Tips raising his leg. Moxie was pure white - and a run of yellow down her side was not particularly attractive. Plus the smell - yikes :)

Great pics.

those pictures are really cute. My oldest fur baby is 15, a shepherd/lab mix, and born and raised in Fla. The first time she saw snow, she didn't know what to make of it. She saw it but couldn't feel it. She is one who will hold it in before going out in the rain. She did wait for a while, sizing up the snow before going out from under the porch. Now she just loves the stuff. She doesn't even mind cold paws.

Your last picture is funny. When I got Phoebe, my mini pin, she wasn't use to having a large dog around and walked under Sandy when she was taking a poo. I only have the after picture. Our fur babies sure are a form of entertainment.

Love the pics, especially the last one.

First time Sassy (who does NOT like to get her feet wet) was in snow was in Wyoming. I should have dropped dead from the look she gave me when she squatted and got snow on your little tooshie. She's always nosing around Buddy: "Whatcha doin huh, huh. Whatcha doing?" Its only a matter of time till he pees on her.

what lovely boys, my Bandit is no stranger to the snow as he came from Colorado
where we had lots of snow every winter but the girls have never seen snow and I'm
sure they would shiver and shake.

Thanks for all the compliments :D We just love our boys! They can be a handful sometimes, but since neither of us had any kids, we don't mind.

I love watching the furry ones meet with new situations and watch their wheels turning as the figure it out and whether or not they "like" it, or "trust" it, etc. Yeah, short dogs in the dog park have a disadvantage....

When my dog first encountered snow, she ignored me for 10 days; guess she blamed me that all the ordor in her world was gone.
