The year isn't over yet, but....

Josef's year of showing isn't over yet, but for the moment his numbers are look very fine. As of stats current to July 31, he is presently sitting at #1 English Cocker in the Owner Handler rankings. There he is only competing against other English Cockers that chose to compete in classes as Owner Handler eligible. There are some owner handlers that think some of the judges are less likely to take you seriously and put you up for breed if they know you are an Owner Handler. I have to laugh because I have watched those professional handlers and if anyone confused me with their handling expertise they would have to be blind. If they can't judge the dogs, I understand and will keep track of who they are and what they put up.....
In the all breed stats that rank the dogs by how many dogs of all breed they have won over he made into #16 spot because of his recent two Sporting Group wins in DeKaulb, IL. To stay humble though is to know that the #1 English Cocker has won over more than 12,000 dogs with multiple BIS wins and at least 26 Group one wins. Josef has placed over 158 with his two Group wins. He still is the most competitive dog I have ever owned or shown.
