DOGS GETTING READY TO GO FULL-TIME TOO

Found a barely used red pet stroller on craigslist and decided it was what I needed for our two Chihuahua's going full-time with us (house hasn't sold yet though).

They both adapted well to sitting in it in the house last night. It's too cold to go for a walk today, but hopefully they will enjoy the ride when we are able to get outside.

I think this stroller will be perfect for town festivals, flea markets, walks in the campground, and sitting around a camp fire at night.

Annie seems very content.

Buddy said he was just glad it wasn't pink like the dog bed I bought him.

Great idea and I know the doggies will love it. Great photos too.
I've seen many people around here shopping with furry friends riding along in shops that allow them (most of the antique malls do and I recently learned that Lowe's does too.) Have also noticed a few people carrying their small pups in baby slings. You might consider those for areas where strollers would be a hard to handle ( like flea markets on a hill side).

So cute. Roe says it's fine for them, but don't be ordering him one.

Looks perfect for the little ones. Their little legs would find it hard to keep up with adult human legs!

What little cuties! I never even knew they made such neat strollers for little poochies! (Molly would prefer being hitched to one and hauling it around!) I wonder if my ancient cat, Twitch, would ride in one of those! What a great idea! I think my friend Richard's little dogs would LOVE one of those at Bluegrass festivals....at least his 13-year-old female, Jessie, would. Not so sure about JJ who is just one year old!

I think Pixie would take to a stroller too, but I'm not too sure about Gracie,
she'd want to be standing up all the time. Then it would remind me too much
of work, telling them kids to sit down back there

I love watching the dogs here in baskets, strollers, etc. Have wondered if Peaches would sit still in one. She loves riding in golf carts and cars, but I'm not so sure about that. Yours, however, I think will do just fine. And Peaches will just do fine getting her exercise on her 4 legs. And, yes, I think for your dogs who can't walk as far, that will be great at rv parks and some festivals.

I love your stroller! Your pup looks quite comfy. :D I am looking for a pink one like yours. My oldest pup has a heart murmur & he shouldn't get winded. I hate not taking him when we go walking. Never thought of looking on Craigslist.

This weekend I was able to take the two little Chihuahua's for a "stroll". Buddy, the tiny one, just loved it immediately. He made his "nest" in his blankie and settled right in. Annie, at first, scratched to get out. However, once she figured out she could turn around and see me she also settled down and never tried to get out. The designer did a good job with the screens because the dogs can see out front and back as well as see me pushing the stroller. We didn't pass any people or other dogs so not sure yet how that is going to work.

I think I got lucky finding this used one on craigslist, but ebay has tons of new ones.

Ah, great news that they both took to it, even if one needed a little more time. I hope they are just as good when you do your first stroll past other dogs. And past lots of people who will be looking in at them and oohing and ahhing.

Should I get one of those for Bogie the Pit? Somehow I think only cute little dogs should be in one.

That's a great idea. You can walk and get your exercise without all the perfunctory "sniffing" and "lifting" that goes with walking dogs on leashes. Plus, my little old man does more than his share of stopping and sniffing ... I think mostly to take a break.
