Zorro's Baby Brother

Postby IrishIroamed » Mon Dec 28, 2015 7:03 pm

Zorro has a new brother as of 12/26/2015. I'm calling him Punkin (yes I know it's spelled wrong :D ). He's 10 months old, house & crate trained. Vet said he's probably full size at 24#. And is a Corgi mix (definitely longer legs than a Corgi), but his head & body look Corgi-ish.

Only dog I've had that wakes up and his tail is automatically wagging. Seems he like to kill stuffed animals just like Molly did. I found him on AdoptAPet.com and saw him at an adoption event up in the north burbs. Poor little guy took a long trip from Alabama to Illinois. He had 5 different applications for him. I think that I told him he's going to be my camping buddy definitely turned them in my favor. Zorro can take him or leave him I think

Punkin is adorable. I hope he loves camping, too.

Cute! What happened to the schnauzer mix, though? Didn't you hear back from them?

No Kathy, I never heard anything about the schnauzer mix. And if you or the other 2 references didn't hear anything either, I guess they really weren't interested in finding that pup a home. It was meant to be that Punkin came home. Personality reminds me so much of Molly. He's such a happy dog. Wonder if his tail ever gets tired

BJ - Punkin would love to play with Mitzi. Still thinking about the pre-Memorial Day trip. Thinking about Pere Marquette for a day or two maybe, and Carlyle Lake again, but who knows. I need to stop playing with Punkin ;) and look as some places this weekend.
