Happy Birthday Peaches 'n Cream

Tips and I traveled to Atlanta and rescued Peaches 8 years ago today. She was terrified of every single human being, except, after about 20 minutes me. It was a long road - and she certainly lights up my life. Since she had no birthday but she seemed to be about 1 - I decreed the day of rescue as her birthday. I've already sung to her today (which she could do without, I'm sure) and we are about to go on a second walk ... but just wanted to share her 9th birthday here, too!

Mommy told me you wouldn't be here yesterday and I'm being so very patient till next week. I didn't mind going out in the rain, but it got dark so early and I didn't want to go out in the rain AND the dark ... do you think it's age?

Happy Birthday from Stuart and the other furry ones. Stuart just got back from taking Josef on a walk in town. Hopefully by the time you meet him, Peaches, Stuart will have civilized him enough for you to tolerate.

Tina, if Peaches would do more than just tolerate other dogs, I'd probably have another. I'm sure she'll tolerate Josef just fine!
Thanks everyone. She's pretty special to me. Oh, and yes, she knows it. I'm wrapped around those paws, no question.
