need ideas

Normally when in the truck I have Shadow in the rear seat...today when I packed up to come back to Q I decided to put
him in the front seat the reason being thought it would be cooler for him ..as I'm not sure how much A/C he gets or cooler
air from the vent..he typically lays down and sleeps most of the way up front he seemed more not sure but not relaxed also the sun
was beating down on him and he is a black boy
so I stopped and rearranged things so he could go to the back seat...so my question is do any of you know of something
that can move the air so I would feel that he is somewhat cooler...is there a fan that can plug into the lighter? or an inverter?
if so what and where do you find them?
or what do you do to make back seat doggies more comfy?

First, he may actually be getting enough cool air to be comfortable. If he hasn't been acting uncomfortable, excessive panting and restlessness...he is probably okay. Just monitor him as we do all or critters as we move down the road. That said, I know that there are small battery operated fans, because folks hang them on dog crates at dog shows to keep their pups cooler in the summer heat. I would imagine that there are 12 volt options also. Google search!

Yes, there are fans that plug into the cigarette lighter thing. I've bought several over
the years. Have seen them at the auto parts store but I bought mine at Flying J. Think
I paid $9, maybe $12 the last time I bought one.
I just googled it, WalMart carries them, called a 12v oscillating fan. It clips on to where
ever you want to put it. The one in the picture is exactly what I have.

There are several variations of this fan. Some clip and some are mounted. You can find them at truck stops and Walmart as Ava said.
