Alternative to cone collars

They are cute but I wonder how effective they really are. It they have an itch or irritation, not sure material will keep them from chewing thru it. Depends on the dog I guess.

Am guessing the calming effect is like that of the Thunder shirt and it would protect surgery/injuries on part of body covered. Doubt it would be of much help for printing chewing on legs/feet but still a good idea
