Meet Bailey

OK, so I just stopped by the pound and what should I find but a little approximately two year old Terrier mix who was scheduled to be put down Monday. Now you all know me so of course, he came home with me. He's under weight and sweet as can be. Took him directly to the vet - no worms, no heartworm, no fleas, no apparent issues, NOT fixed and (currently) only 7 lbs. Earliest I can get him fixed is January. He's fixated on Baxter who is not too thrilled to being humped constantly. Other than that, they all get along really well. Sophie doesn't run and play so he will be a good match for Baxter (when he's fixed). Now all this is possible because I found a leash at Tuesday Morning of all places, that has two retractable leashes with only one handle and control and it rotates so they don't get tangled up. So this frees up one hand thus I can now handle three dogs. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I've been saying I have room on the bed for another dog. I was warm and very cuddled last night. Sophie always sleeps plastered against my back and Baxter curls up behind my knees so the front of me (I'm a side sleeper) was available. Now I'm warm on both sides. He rides well in the car and is not a barker.

Sorry pictures are so large but Photobucket and I DO NOT get along well.

Adorable. Should I say I'm not surprised. :-) Good for you.

Why can't you get him fixed right away? There's no age limit anymore.

Aw, what a cutie and fitting in with everybody too. There is something to be sai about having a dog on both sides when you are sleeping. Ask me how I know this
