Saw this on Facebook today:

William has that expression -- but only after I've caught him stealing food!

That is TOO funny!!!

I used to use a similar line on George...

ME: "Do you love me?"

G: "What'd you buy?"

..

Cute !

The worst Alexis has done was steal a roast off the counter, this was suppose to be my lunch during the week. I wanted to shoot her for that one. She has also stole wasabi, but paid for it right after

i just saw this face today... Sadie decided to 'sample' the quiche I had on the kitchen counter. She usually 'samples' 1 cookie while they are on a cooling rack - eating it in the kitchen while I'm busy elsewhere. Today's taste test will cost me a new deep dish pie stoneware pan. :( I know she is sorry - especially since I heard the crash & called her to me before she got to eat very much of it.
That face is exactly what she looked like when she came to me.

And some people say dogs don't have feelings. They've just never owned (or been owned by) a dog.

I don't think Olive has ever been sorry for anything in her life. At least not for long.
Sometimes she doesn't come in the house when I call her at bed time. When she finally does show up, she looks a little ashamed and goes to her bed...for about three seconds. Then she goes to the door to be let out again. Shameless hussy!

Her legs are too short to steal food from anywhere but the floor.

My hubby's dog Shooter is never repentant when stealing off the counters. One day he reached up and took a pan of onion rings off the counter and completely cleaned it. I found him starting on the paper towels that had lined the pan. But I know he had help; both of my other dogs were in the house with him. Fortunately, no one got sick as onions are very bad for dogs.
