I adopted her this morning. Olive and I both love her already. She's part dachshund/chihuaha and just as sweet as she can be. Olive has beds all over the house. Scarlett has chosen one that Olive doesn't use. I guess she's made herself at home.

Nikki, you need to change your signature and add Miss Scarlett. She's sure a cutie!!

Cute and let's face it as much as they adore their people they appreciate the company of another dog especially when we go off and leave them for a non doggy activity.

What a cutie pie! And what big ears she has !

Congrats on your new addition...she sure is cute....

I've learned that when she's relaxed her ears flop forward. Then she's really cute. With ears up and those buggy green eyes, she looks like Yoda. She and Olive are quite the pair. I've also learned that when she has a treat under the table, Olive had better steer clear. I think in time Scarlett will be Alpha.

She's adorable. But I have to say - in Peaches' case she doesn't want another dog. She wants me all to herself.

Back on topic - you've got a great family. Glad Olive accepted her right away - and thank you for adopting.

I would like to have another dog but Maggie like peaches would never stand for it would break her little heart if I showed love for another dog
