I was able to get right in, but was not able to see Belle. Will try again later. How great for your students to actually watch something like this. My best to Belle. Linda

Well, my little radioactive kitty is safely home & snoozing at the end of my recliner. She did well at the vet and now it's just a waiting game for her thyroid tumor to dissolve. It can take anywhere from 30 to 90 days. She didn't need the regular dose of iodine, so hopefully that will bode well for the tumor's demise.

What will be difficult now will be limiting my time with her. I can only have close contact with her for an hour every day and not sleep with her at all for the next 12 days. But I've been given the okay to let her sit at the foot of the recliner. Good thing I don't have any kids in the house or she'd be banned to the guest bedroom for the duration.

Thanks for your well wishes, everyone. Having this be as uneventful as it's been has really been an answer to prayer. Now we just need to get her "cooled off". :)

I bet she is happy to be back home! Glad to hear she is doing well. :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Still can't get in as my internet says that the sight wants to send info in an 'unsecure manner'. I guess I'd have to go into my setting and lower the security in order to watch Belle. ;)

Lenora, Belle's been home for 10 days. ;) I don't think my account is active anymore.

She's doing well & has just 2 more days of sleeping alone. I'll take her in next month for a blood test to check her thyroid levels, and again in June. After that, assuming that all goes well with the 2 blood tests, she's good to go.

The hardest part of this whole thing is trying to limit the amount of lap time she gets. She's only supposed to be up close & personal for 60 minutes a day until Tuesday. But it's a cold, rainy day & we both want to cuddle.

Sorry you missed the show, Lenora!

I'm glad she's home and doing well. Thanks for updating me. I guess I'd have seen that if I'd read back posts. :D

I'm sure the lack of cuddle time is hard on both of you! Please keep us informed.
