OMG!!! I thought for sure Tater was toast! Amazing the cats didn't do anything to him! Very lucky!

When I had my hamster, one of my ferrets got in his cage one day. All I heard was a blood curdling scream! I ran in to find the hamster (forget his name at the moment) on his back in the cage with Lucy Ferret just looking at him. The hamster was doing the screaming so I thought he was severely injured, so I pulled Lucy out of the cage and grabbed the hamster (he was a mean little guy so that took some courage. or stupidity, on my part!) and he bit me something fierce! There was blood everywhere but I didn't know if it was all mine or his or what! I threw him back in the cage and realized it was me, not him that was bleeding! He was fine. Within minutes, he was happily running on his wheel! Lucy never touched him but apparently, she just scared him and the screaming was his way of defending himself! Not a fun experience for me!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

WOW, Trudy----Tater was sure lucky that time!

My Molly would have snapped little Tater's neck in a heartbeat! He looks too much like her favorite prey, squirrels, for his own safety!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
