No, but they are diggers and scratchers, so they would shred it with their claws, to get out (they don't like to be confined).

My cat would probably love that enclosure too. She loves my porch and has never tried to scratch at the screens (she's not declawed).

I don't think most cats would try clawing it. Mine never clawed at the screen doors - just would sit and watch outside. But, I could be wrong - and I'm sure there are some cats that would.

I've had to un-hook Sam's claws from the screen door several times...traumatic for both of us.
