Here is Miss Emma

Postby Marslet » Tue Aug 26, 2008 10:10 am

Well, here she is. She is adorable. She is wonderful. Can you tell I have lost my heart??? :D
We went to Dr. and he said she is perfect. NO problems at all. On a scale of healthy puppies from 1 to 10, she is an 11!!!! Got our first shots, going back in a month. Weight is a great big whopping 1 pound and 11 ounces.

Thank you for your nice comments. She is a darling. I had to laugh because when I rub her tummy, all I can use is one finger because she is so tiny. But I believe she is gonna be fiesty. She lays in wait for me to come walking close to her and then pounces on my shoe growling like crazy. Then will take off running in the other direction.

She is a beautiful precious little lady. I know you will really enjoy having her. She is so tiny, they kinda take possession of your heart when they are that size.

Echo - exactly what I was thinking - the little toys are bigger :)

She certainly is adorable. Now, for a word of caution. Just cuz she is so small - doesn't mean she doesn't need to learn the rules and follow them. Otherwise, you could have trouble later on - and most will little dogs do. (And I do speak from experience - Peaches gets away with way more than my big dogs ever have - but I learned long before her that I still have to make sure she knows the dos and don'ts - and she's still learning - and teaching me who's boss (and that's not me LOL)

Enjoy - she really is adorable.

What a cutie!!! And I can't believe how small she is, what kind of a dog is she? When they are that small it is hard to tell. No doubt she wil be in complete charge. The little ones just seem to melt our hearts the most. I'm so happy you have her.

Oh my gosh! Emma is soooo cute! Do you know how much her parents weigh? Geez, I love Chihuahuas! Ours weigh 2 lbs., 4 lbs. and 5 lbs. - - all full-grown now.
