If you have a wire cage or the door is wire there is a water bowl you can screw on the door so they can't walk in it and turn it over. The last time I was in Walmart they had them. I got mine at Petsmart. http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.j ... d=11147247
This is a link to a picture of it I think. Hope it works.

I had one like that for my ferrets since they loved to play in their water dishes!
There are also "D" dishes that snap onto the wire bars of the cage that only cost a buck or so, at any pet store (usually in the bird or small animal area).
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Holy smokes!!! I about choked on my mouthful of coffee when I read the price you paid to have him neutered and microchipped!!! GOOD GRIEF! I find that price outrageous for maybe 5 minutes of work. Sheesh! Use to work for a vet and she and the tech would do marathon neutering episodes. They would schedule a whole bunch for on the same day and see how long it took. They kept their own little record of how many in how long. Now I know you have to factor in the cost of knocking them out and wages but wow! That's a wicked price.

Lacey is fabulous, shes really funny the way she has decided to interact with the girls. She will tease Gracie and then be nose to nose.

oh gosh, I never finished my post.. sorry, something came up and I had to zip out the door..
anyway, Lacey is doing just fine and really settled into her surroundings. I added another
shelf below the second one and that one goes the same direction as the top one, her home
shelf, now she does burn outs running back and forth and teasing Gracie. She will also come
down on the bed by using the new shelf which I actually use as a side shelf for the bed, my
clock radio and electric mattress pad control on the end near my pillow. She slinks slowly
down onto my pillow all the time watching those bumps in the blanket to make sure they
don't wake up, then she makes her way over to my lap. She's a very quiet kitty. All total
she has 3 shelves now.

Lacey has an adoring Mommy who is giving her all these shelves - and she obviously loves them. Good fit for her, you and the dogs.

Cool, Ava! Just saw this. Congrats on the kitty and glad everyone is getting along well ;) I miss my kitties, but think I will stick with dogs for awhile, unless someone unexpectedly shows up. Rags does like them 8-)
