So sorry to hear that you lost Phoebe. Min Pins are so special. My first min pin was from the pound. She would chase the other dogs away and com back to lick my hand. The day I picked her up, she was frightened and afraid someone was going to hurt her, she snapped and snarled. The worker put her in my car, I am thinking what have I done. About a block from the pound...she got up and looked at me. A bit further she stepped on the console and got closer, then into my lap she came, then around my neck and stayed there all the way home. I bathed her and she was home. She had heartworms we treated her but the vet said probably 5 years. At the end of 5 years my little Twinkie passed. I fell in love with min pins and their arrogant ways, now I am on my 4th min pin and he is the light of my life. You have to be a min pin person and know if you can adopt to their arrogance they will wrap around your heart always. Phoebe and Twinkie can enjoy a romp together now.
