Tina, what is the difference between an English and American Cocker Spaniel. My dog pepper is an American. He looks like maybe hes a little taller, longer legs, than the others. I just wondered. Wendy

I'd be interested too Tina to know, I thought the English was the bigger of the two.
My little cocker spanial Cinder was an American Cocker, although not registered,
she was a runt from a runt from an accidental breeding. (second generation runt)
She matured at 13" at the shoulder. One of the best dogs I ever had and she was
so dependable and predictable. Always came when called. She lived to be 13 years
old.
