Product for escape artists

Postby BirdbyBird » Fri May 07, 2010 6:55 pm

It is bump that fits around the critter's neck to prevent the small skinny ones from escaping through the bars of a fence....

Thanks Tina, that's exactly what I need when I watch Chewy's sister...she's a skinny little thing (unlike her sister) and I just can't keep her in the yard no matter what I do. Which means I have to put the cover on the doggy door and everyone has to stay in until I take them out. Sending this to my daughter.

Like Ava says, "I wish I had invented this!" What a fashionable, fantastic idea for keeping small dogs from going through fences! I LOVE them!

So cute. For those of you with any sewing talent, they look like they would be fairly easy to make. (That talent doesn't come to me!) The one thing I looked for on the website was what they stuff them with - would think they have to be light or the dogs wouldn't like wearing them. And would hope that it's something that wouldn't hurt the dog should they get it off and chew it.

I could have used something like that for Tips - so small dogs aren't the only ones. Tips would stretch his big, 80 + lb body under fences - ending up with scratches all along his back, but he'd get out. Would have tried something like that with him.

Oh heck yeah! That's who we need! Nan's our very own in-house fixer of all things! Where in the heck is she anyway? Haven't heard a peep out of her since she helped Carolyn (Sunchinecruiser) with her shade on her awning. Hope Carolyn didn't scare her off!

Yep, Nan, where are you - you could have your own business just among this forum - and we'd even let you make a profit! Maybe :P

Oh thanks, Sharon. She's a working woman. Ha! I'm going to her house when I leave the Keys and then we are going over to St George Island in June. I'll give details and if anyone is in the area we can do a gtg.
