Pictures of the family..... Today's goal was suppose to be finally deciding on her name. She has been here a week now and hasn't given up her name to me yet.....

She's definitely a cutie. Will you be keeping her, or rehoming after her ribbons?

For now she will go back and forth between Cindy’s house and mine. Her future down the road is not fortold yet. This way Cindy get another of her puppies shown..... Lark was okay with it as long as she get to go on her rambles with me without a puppy.

Maybe another bird name?? Robin? Skylark?

Or a flower name? Daisy? Poppy? Jasmine?

Cricket?

Aawww. Looks like a sweetie. What's the name on her papers? When she finally tells you, should we just look for it in your signature? ;)

Her papers haven’t been sent in yet either. Cindy’s theme for the litter is “look”. So far I am thinking .... Downonda Farm’s Here’s Looking at You Kid. Cindy’s kennel prefix is Downonda Farm. If the name gets too long it gets shortened to Downondas. I get to come up with both the registered name and the call name. In the end to me the call name is the most important......

The puppy is so cute. I have a hard time naming things. They usually get a name on the way to get fixed because the vets want to know their name. lol My friends named CC. Sometimes a name will just kind of come to me. All the cat names are Orange Boy, Hollywood, Zero, Nicky, Ginger, Gypsy, Paula, Mr P, Sadie, Rascal, Sis, Monkey, Brother, Inky, Mini Moo, MeMe, Stinky, Pinky, Possie, CC, Frosty and Annie.

When I saw her individual picture, I thought "Star" as a shortened version of stare, but keeping with Cindy's litter theme, now I'm thinking Looker. She's got such a soft gaze, maybe Gazin Gal.

Oh geez, now my brain won't stop.

And now you know what my brain has been doing this past week. Cindy just laughs and says Google has been my friend as I researched meanings and connections between ideas. Before Lark was Lark I had a list of about 4-5 names that I liked until the name Lark and the idea of "blithespirit" found her....... That is how it goes around here.

I love her blended black and white fur! Have you come up with a name yet?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

She has been Jane....Janey, Jane Jane.... for a while now......She has adventures with Lark that she posts on FB. Her registered name is Downonda Farm's Look no Further.

(Cindy's Kennel name is Downonda Farm, which occasionally gets shortened to Downonda's if the name has a lot of other words in it like Josef's did. My kennel name is Kathben but the breeder generally gets to put their kennel name in front. And I didn't bother adding my "at Kathben" at the end this time.)

All seven puppies in the litter have the work "Look" somewhere in their registered name. Cindy allowed me to work that one out also. I won't say how long it took me but then it came to me and just made sense. Several of these puppies will end up competing in the rings at the same time. Jane is not worried about her sisters because the judges should look no further after they set their eyes on her.......

There you have it for "To much information".......
