Yesterday I received the following voicemail:

"This is a lost dog alert. A Siberian Husky named Cody was lost in your area December thirteenth and he's still missing. Cody is a silver Gray brownish color with some black running through his fur and he has a white markings. He has brown eyes Cody is micro chipped. If you've seen him or can help please call 3606875359. There's a one thousand dollar reward for information leading to Cody's safe return. Again that's 3606875359. I went to the website and it's an ASPCA-PETA site where you can put in info of your lost pet and people in your area are alerted by phone. Anyone else know of this?

I've gotten an email once, but rarely give out my phone number, so that could be why. Hope they find Cody.

I have no idea how they got my ph# unless the get the numbers from the phone book as mine is listed. I do keep my cell ph# private.

I didn't know about it -- and I think it's brilliant!

Of course, I'm glad they didn't have it when William was a stray. He might never have come to live with me. I've always felt sorry for his original owners.
