Teeth cleaner

Postby retiredhappy » Tue Mar 06, 2012 10:22 am

As you all know my Buddy is pretty old so I don't want to have him sedated for a teeth cleaning and the tarter on his teeth was built up pretty bad. At the pet store I found a product called Dental Fresh that "brightens teeth, freshens breath and REMOVES plaque and tarter. You just add it to their water. I've been using it for about two months and I was actually amazed at the tarter removal aspect. And of course, Sophie's smile is pearly white.

Thanks for this info...since I have a pet store I will see if I can get it through my suppliers. I want to use this on my dogs..they detest the toothbrush and it's not worth it.

I'm going to check and see if pet smart has it here. That would be perfect for my old gal! Thanks.

This sounds like a good option! I will have to check out any side effects, but I suppose, if Sophie is alive and kickin' it must be good! thanks for the info, Karen!

Read some reviews on this and seems the most common side effect is diarrhea. Second to "my dog won't drink the water".
