Here are a few of the pics I have taken of the progress in making Sunshine my own. Like any home, it will be a continual work in progress.

Luke and Rascal on "their" new couch. My niece made the flower arrangement on my bench/coffee table for me as a housewarming gift

Right now have my rooster placemats on table. At beginning of September, will be switching this out for my Fall decorations

It was definitely a job getting the memory foam topper into it's cover before I could put it on the bed.

Now that's one luxurious rig! I love seeing you decorate and furnish it! I see that the 4-footers needed no prompting to feel right at home! I am so excited for you that you are getting ready to hit the roads and do some serious exploring and relaxing!

I am now completely loaded! Have culled down to just what I am taking. If I did not have to get Mom moved in next, I could take off in the morning and hit the road. That is such a wonderful feeling. I figure Paul and I can have Mom fully moved into the MH by the end of the weekend and then we only have finishing up cleaning out her house. We were calculating this afternoon, we should be ready to leave here in a week, hopefully.

When we leave here, first stop will be CW to have InMotion satellite system put in, sway bar added, dolly to haul Mom's car purchased and attached, MaxAir vent cover put on, and a few other misc things added. That will probably be an all day thing but there is an RV park right across the freeway if we have to spend the night. As soon as I know for sure what day we will be leaving here, I will call CW to schedule everything to make sure they have everything I need done.

As of this afternoon, I can officially call myself a full-timer. I am fully moved in. Not saying I have found the final resting place for everything yet. I figure I will move things around a few times until I am completely happy with the placement.

Amen, Mitch! I really did not think I would get to this point earlier today. Was kind of down in the dumps and had to really kick myself in the rear. Once I got started, it all just seemed to fall into place since I was so close to being finished. Now it's time to get in the shower and into my "Florida GTG fashionable PJ's".

Some Camping World's have electric hookups for customers getting service. Should be free. I would check that as they will be drawing blood with all you want to buy there. I probably missed it but I guess your mom's car can't be towed 4 wheels down? Bummer. That would be so much easier.

I was definitely going to see if they had hookups before checking into the RV park across the road. Nope, Mom has a Kia that cannot be towed 4 down. Wish it could be, but her chair lift is already on her car, so we are just going to go with that.

Dawn, have you looked into pricing on other places doing this work? I'd get some quotes if you can. And I prefer independent rv shops without rv sales included in most cases.

The closet rod bracket broke when my great niece and I were hanging up Mom's clothes. It was made of plastic and just snapped. We had very little weight on it too! Took measurements of the closet and decided right then to upgrade and redo both closets to get a small shelf area for shoes. Here's what Mom's closet looks like now. I will empty and redo mine tomorrow.

This is definitely a modification I was not expecting to have to do today. Moved Mom in, but not as much of her stuff as I had wanted to get done today. I do like the usefulness of the small shelf a lot better, though. I am learning about more things everyday too. Had never used a toggle bolt until today, but knew I would have to have them to hold the shelving up. Found out it is styrofoam behind the closet wall.

Dawn,
Will your mom's car be tilted back if it is on a dolly (front higher than the back)? Will only the front two wheels of your mom's car be on the dolly? The reason I am asking is it may make your mom's chair be too low to the ground, especially if you go over a bump.
