Italian for "star," because when she's ready to camp she looks like the point of a star!
No more sleeping in a tent on the ground for me.....
.....or squatting in a cold camp chair fighting the desert wind for my dinner!
Pulled by my 2011 Nissan Xterra, "Fiona."
And my #1 camping partner, Jake, the 2-1/2 year old Rottweiler that I adopted from the pound a year ago:

Wow Terry, you did great. You got your avatar up, too! Stella sure is cute & I agree, much better than tent camping. I saw Jake's bed, but where will you sleep?
Love his sweet face.

I can see Jake takes to camping very well. There is another lady and her mom that camp in a TT like this. Also, in TX I saw one that had solo panels attached. Good shape to use solo. Look forward to meeting you.

Looks like a great camping package. Jake appears to be warning people not to mess with his home!!!

It looks do right sized for so many!
I especially like that it can be pulled with so many options.

I wish you and Jake many, many wonderful, fun, and safe adventures!
PS: Does it open automatically, or manually?

Oh Terry, I love those A-Frames - how cozy, and with the high ceiling feel so much bigger than they are. Yours looks just lovely. I can't wait for pics of you all out there camping. Or better yet, at one of our gtg's, camping with us! Stella is a beauty - and Jake is a handsome guy.

Thank you everyone for the great comments about Stella and Jake! I'm so proud of them both!
@VickieP: Jake will quickly learn to love camping, because that WILL be his bed! He has his own bed in my bedroom at home and I don't let him on mine, although he does have full lounging and sprawling privileges on the couch!
@gjkl: I'm definitely considering solar panels. I love having full hook-ups, but I love being remote and "off the grid" just as much.
@Gentleladybear and cpatinjones: Jake was stretched out on the aforementioned couch sound asleep when I leaned in to take the photo, but he woke up when he sensed the camera in his face yet again (my daughter calls me a mammarazzi because I've dogged her with a camera for her 25 years.....)
@Birdbybird, longdog2, and AlmostThere: Stella is indeed the perfect size for a girl and her dog/moose! (.....ask me how I feel about it if we get several days of rain and we're stuck inside Stella with serious cases of cabin fever!)
@retiredhappy: I hope to tackle the member map tonite!
@mitch5252: She opens manually and can be a little heavy at times, but once started she's up and locked into place in less than a minute, WAY quicker than my tent ever was!
@Travelinana: Haha, I like your comment about "youth"! (I'll be 52 this summer). The so-called "aggressive" breeds get such a bum rap, since a majority of them are just big snugglebutts. Jake is the poster child for cuddlebugs everywhere.
@rvgrammy1953, Bethers, and mtngal: Stella definitely feels a lot bigger than her 12' x 7" footprint, because of the pitched roof and huge window over the galley. With the exception of a "real" bathroom and an oven, she has everything that my 25' Airstream had. I like the practicality of having the "comforts" in a small enough package that I feel capable handling.
Big thanks again - here's hoping for a gtg soon!
