Hope's Facelift

Postby sharon » Sun Jul 03, 2011 4:22 pm

Finally getting this done! I just love the new floor, tv and chair. Stuff I've been wanting to do for years. After 1 trip in her I'm really glad I had it done! Couldn't find some of the pictures I took of the old Hope, sorry!

Old tv:

New tv, wider, 65 pounds lighter and 6 inches shorter...no banging of head when coming in the front door! Yayyy! :D

New Recliner, perfect for that afternoon nappie! The old one didn't fit me and hurt my back:

Wow is right! That really looks good. For some reason I thought your couch was on the other side.

Looks beautiful, Sharon!
I think I heard my Little Missy sigh when I released her of the her old heavy TV and put in the flatscreen.
Enjoy that comfy recliner! Zzzzzzzzzzz!

Really Beautiful! I notice you also took out your couch for a more useable space with the recliner and side table.... I put a desk and computer area in my former "couch space". The floor is simply fabulous dahling, is extremely elegant, I just love it.

I got rid of both of my rear living recliners that came with the RV and bought a recliner for one side and a wicker storage in the other....BUT, the funniest thing, when I went to the furniture store to purchase the chair I sat in a few chairs and chose mine for its comfort and it had a nice fabric that matched perfectly. So, once it was in my RV and looking wonderful I noticed that when I stand in my bedroom looking down the length of the Rv and right to the chair I see a giant "SPHINCTER" looking back at me. The chair designers did one single giant "tuck" in the foot rest so when it's in the down position you see a giant "SPHINCTER" looking at you...makes me have to go poddy all the time.

Guess my post got lost. Sharon, Hope's facelift is BEAUTIFUL. You did a great job - really love the floor and the new TV. Did you change out the TV in the bedroom too? Looks like a new RV - does it feel new? Our MHs are similar - mine is a 2007 Holiday Rambler (owned by Monaco at the time of purchase - now Navistar). I'm always looking at new motor homes.

Enjoy all your new surroundings!!

Now that is a really great make-over. Floors are my favorite too.
