i finished up my little project today.. its not fancy by any means but it works great for extra counter space!
How I did it:
took a 1x2 cut it into 3/20" pieces ( 45 degree angles) put a peice of 1/4 plyboard on top using small nails and glue.
went to home depot and bought 4 peel and stick leno peices.. cut to fit and stuck them on the top! All done..

Where do you put it when you're using the stove? Can you set it up against the back or side wall?

I must be the rare bird that enjoys cooking in my camper,... even bake peach biscuits for b'fast in the oven! I really enjoy my camper and planning nice meals when I'm camping is part of it for me.

That's too funny. So really - you eat every meal out?

I absolutely am going to make one of those when I get home even though I do use my stove. I really need some counter space. Now, does anyone know how to do a sink cover. DS #1 could probably make me one, but He's not very motivated to figure out how. If I give him specific directions, I have a good chance of getting it done. :)
