Still haven't settled on a name for her, but she's a beauty. Like a phoenix rising out of the accident,... here is 2010 Rockwood #2. Must say if #1 and #2 had been sitting side by side I would have chosen this one. I really like her so much better for a lot of reasons. The floor plan is the same, but there are more options that Rockwood now includes as standard. Some of the new options I didn't have in the first one are surround sound, outside bbq grill, upgraded two-door frige and the big flat screen tv.

The trip home from the dealer's was uneventful, the interstate was bare and dry. However the state and town roads to my place were snow covered, hence the splatter on her from tire spray. A good cleaning in the spring will happen, right now everything would just freeze. Stepping inside the door the kitchen is to the right and the closet and entertainment area is to the left.

The bedroom is located in the front of the camper, the sofa is in the slideout, (slideout shown in). Large area of under-bed sstorage.

The bathroom is the same as the first one,...but this time I bought new rug and towels to match the camper.

Here she is on the far side of my back yard, parked until spring!

Now that she's all settled I think Kath and I will go out and have a New Year's drink in her this evening. Here's to 2010!

Alright Cedar! Ya got her and she's a beauty. I noticed that you no longer have a shelf on top of the fridge, is that storage now? I'm happy you have a new rv and will be able to continue your excursions come Spring!

Sharp eyes, there Vickie,.... lost that open area on top of the fridge with the upgrade to the larger, two-door model. But behind that frige wall I'll put a three corner shelf over the window. With my new mp3 player I won't need all the cds with me, and I think the bigger frige will be of more use to me than that area was. it was a "catch all"..... The lamp will be at the end table at the foot of the bed.

 Um, I cheated and went back and looked at your first one. Different graphics on the outside too, huh. I really like it and like you said, more fridge/freezer room will be better.

She's honest - that's one thing I love about our Vickie.
The rest, not so much.

What a lovely rig. And the wood panels on the fridge are a nice touch. The couch looked so comfy, I just wanted to sit down and watch your flat-screen. I'll bet with the slide out she's plenty roomy. Does that bedroom area flip in when you travel?

No,.... it just looks a bit different with the slide out in. After towing home yesterday on some yukky roads I didn't want to extend the slide out until the slush melted underneath, The floor plan, curtains and upholstery are the same as the first one. This one has the coppery colored window and door casings instead of white,... and two-toned copper colored graphics. Overall it seems more elegant. Now elegance isn't one of my qualities, I'm very down to earth,...but gotta admit I love it!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. We did go out and have our NYE drink in her. Pina Colada, no less!

My dealer said that when he toured the Rockwood factory in Indiana he was so impressed with the workmanship/workwomanship ( :D ) that he'd like to just carry the Rockwood line. I think they are tasteful,...so many rvs are so "glitzy".

Love the color and pattern of the couch fabric. Looks very comfy! Is there a place to eat at in there?

Thanks,... I really like the color scheme. Yes,... There is a lovely table that is folded behind the sofa. Because the slide is in it would have been a little tight in there with it set up. I wanted the space to move around to get things put away.

It is so good to get the boxes out of my spare bedroom where they have been since the accident in October.
