Making room for company

As I have posted somewhere, after the PA GTG I am heading down to the DC area and hang out until my cousin's reunion on July 6th. On the weekend of June 28-30, My daughter will be in DC visiting museums with a couple other educators as part of the Artist and Residence program that she participated in this past winter. I will pick her up on Sunday the 30th and she will stay with me in the Short Bus at the Cherry Hill RV Park until her husband flies in to join her on the 5th. We will play DC tourists until Lucas arrives then they get their own accommodations and we all get to play tourist together the reunion.
But the Short Bus only has one bed.....
Now I get to appreciate why I like the open floor space.
Here we are with dog crates and the comfortable chair for reading and computer work....across from my bed.
Here is the wood working part. Picked up 3/4 sheet of plywood from Lowes and cut it down to 26 inches by 68 inches....
I rearrange a couple of dog crates....
And using the slim air mattress I found...... The Short Bus can now sleep 2 without me having to give up my overhead/cab storage area
And until I need it the board can travel behind the crates and the chair while the air mattress folds up and hides in the overhead. (Later I might see if the board can just slide under the mattress on my bed for storage...though it might make lifting the lid to the under bed storage harder....)
I'll be ready to roll by Sunday!
