New (drier) trailer - update 5/4 inside pics

Many of you that I'm friends with on Facebook saw that I was having a few issues with my little Jayco. It leaked. A lot. As soon as the dealer would fix one leak, we'd find another. And another. This has been going on since January. Well, that wasn't going to work for me so I chucked the Jayco and picked up a new Holiday Rambler Aluma-lite. I wasn't sure how the Liberty would do with the longer, heavier trailer but it did fine. It felt about the same as the smaller, lighter Jayco so I'm a happy camper. I didn't think I'd like the electric awning because you can't tip it or adjust the angle, but I'm sold.

Anyway, Here are a few pictures from the maiden voyage with the trailer last weekend. I don't have any shots of the inside yet but will get those posted soon.

This trailer is just so much nicer than the Jayco. Don't get me wrong, Jayco makes a good product but I think I got one that maybe missed a few steps in the quality control portion of construction.

Let the dry camping begin (you know, not the boondocking type of dry camping, the not-leaking-on-my-feet-while-I-sleep type of dry camping ;) )

Beautiful! I'm glad you chucked the old one for this one with no worries. Can't wait to see the inside.

Neat upgrade..... :) Life is to short to go around wet and moldy... Have fun in the rain or shine! :)

I can attest it is a beauty on the inside, too. And I know where she stashed the Fritos.

Congrats on the new trailer. Sometimes it just makes sense to get rid of a problem. Sounds like that problem would have just kept on "giving". :o Awaiting the inside pictures. Linda

Mitch, is that your mowing the lawn headgear? If so, don't forget the arm floaties in case you get too close to the pond.  :D

I have "built in" floaties - 38D
(fat floats - one of the first things you learn in SCUBA class. Boobs are mostly fat...I'm good to go.)

Oh, that's my sandblasting safety equipment. I have added a respiration mask, too.
Thank goodness I was wearing it all - I had my first Industrial Accident this afternoon...
Don't ask.

Nice trailer! I wish I had an electric awning...would probably use it more. Looking forward to the inside pics.
