She's beautiful! I, too, had the pullout bed. Threw the mattress away and had loads more storage.

Ellen, congratulations on your acquisition. Our rigs are very similar inside except that I do not have a bunk in front - just the entertainment center and two storage cubbies. Enjoy!!

Congratulations Ellen. Can't wait to get a tour at the GTG. Job well done! Now a whole new kind of fun begins.

Thanks, everyone. I'm still sort of giggling every time I think about Joy. Tonight I picked Laura's brain (Cougarfan) for about an hour, just so excited I find I'm flitting from subject to subject. I have a feeling I'll arrive at the Northwest GTG with a jar of spaghetti sauce, Tucker, maybe a stepstool, a bottle of wine, and a small coffee maker. That's what I've assembled so far. Can I borrow a bottle opener and some coffee anyone??

I'm trying to line up some help from my son to move "stuff" from the old 10' x 10' storage unit to the new 18' x 35' STORAGE UNIT, but so far no response. Oh well, I can do that too, right?! It'll all come together.

Sistahs, your response is so appreciated. Vickie, you asked how I could keep a secret so long... First, that's something I'm pretty good at ;) ; second it's just been kinda nice hugging this one to myself till I was ready to share.

congratulations on buying your new rig! Joy looks lovely, and I love all the storage space. I'm going to an RV show on Friday so I'll be sure and look this model up.

Thanks, BJ and Cari. BJ - I wish I loved the upholstery more. Not really my style, but I've found there's very little choice from the manufacturers. I think my plan in 2015 (my retirement year) is to learn to reupholster. :?

Cari - have a grand time at the RV show. And yes, definitely look for some Greyhawks. My "little" 28'9" is the baby of the line. There are several 32' floorplans. In fact Ladyhawk has one of the longer models. I wrote to her and she's taking hers out at least twice a month! What a great plan to aspire to! I'm already working on my calendar to find a weekend in October and another one in November (weather permitting).
