Finally got it home!!

It's beautiful! And you will learn it all best by doing it....so get out there and have fun! If you can come to the AR GTG, I'll help you with whatever you haven't already figured out by then. And yes, reading the manuals will help, but in my case sometimes what's in the manual doesn't exactly fit my particular rig.

I agree with everything Liz said. I didn't read manuals until I couldn't do something, then often had to amend them to fit my exact needs. I was talking to someone yesterday and they have a button to start their rig using the auxilliary battery - but it wasn't anywhere near where it was in the manual. So thought she didn't have it. She does and has even used it now. Something I'll hope I have in my next rig (even though I've never needed it so far in this one).

Congrats, BJ. It's a beauty and you'll get very comfortable with her. Just practice - and have FUN practicing.

Thanks for all the encouragement everyone! I'm feeling better now, I downloaded the video we took of the walk through and the sound is fine. I was worried about that. My brother who is very mechanical came to see it yesterday and as we were driving the A/C started blowing air that wasn't very cool. He took a look when we got back to the house and said he thought it needed freon and the front of the condenser the thing that brings in fresh air I think, needed cleaning. I can take it back for repairs for 30 days or longer if I call and tell them and can't get there before the 30 days are but...I'm going to take it here and see if that is the issue and just have it fixed if not too much. Hopefully it will be cheaper than a 200 round trip drive. My brother has a boat and suggested we take them both to the lake and have a practice camp out. YES! Just as soon as the humidity drops enough so we can breath.

Hip hip hooray!! You did it. Good for you. Yes, butterflies are normal. I'd be concerned if I didn't have them. Ditto what everyone else said about practicing. I am so happy for you. Can't wait to see it in person.

What a beautiful rig, BJ! I just love it! You will get so comfortable with it after a while that you won't even remember how nervous you are right now before you learn how to run it all. The camping in the yard or driveway is a great way to get used to some things. Have a wonderful time with it all!

I'm so HAPPY for you BJ! And I wish you were closer too. Like the gals said, just take it slow and easy, and have fun!

P.S. For that big stack of manuals that you probably got like I did......get a three ring binder and a bunch of page protectors, slip each manual into a protector, write the name of the appliance (or whatever) with a making pen, and file alphabetically in the binder. For those times when you just *have* to read the darn instructions!

I put a notebook page in my binder to write when I check my batteries, get new tires and service my motorhome because I can't remember s*%# anymore. I also put the manuals for anything I put in.

So does this mean you're coming to the Arkansas GTG in Oct????

I'd love to come to the GTG but will depend on the weather I usually don't go south until winter but maybe we'll get lucky and hit a cool spell. As crazy as this weather is it could be snowing by then!
