Our Allegro

This is our Allegro. This was taken on our first beach trip.

And the only remodeling we've done is to install hardwood floors. The whole inside was a mauve pink color. It was way too much pink for me. I want to make slipcovers for the sofa, dinette & a small recliner. I also want to paint the cabinets but it is too hot to do that now. I'll wait til this winter to paint. Do any of you know a good pattern to make slipcovers?

Very nice! I like pink and mauve, and even I would want to mute that some. I can't sew, so no patterns from me- but I bet some of the others will have some ideas there.

Your floor looks so good, I'm jealous of all you talented people who do these renovations.

Very pretty. Love the wood flooring, too. Thanks for sharing.

really like the wood flooring - so much easier to keep up. maybe HGTV.com has some patterns or ideas for slipcovers - they have everything else.

Thanks! :D I love the wood flooring too! I can sweep it while we're camping & it shocks me how much we drag in. Then damp mop it when we get home. It is so easy to keep clean. I never felt like the carpet was clean. Carpet & dogs aren't the best match. We cut down on some of the pink, but there's lots of wood now, so I'm going to paint the cabinets off white & do a glaze over them. But that will be when the weather cools off.
I would like to do the slipcovers now tho. Think I'll make a couple of sets while I'm in the mood. :D Still looking for ideas on patterns.

That wood flooring looks wonderful! It's so much better than carpeting which holds dirt and sand all the time. My mother made slipcovers years ago,... I don't remember seeing her use a pattern,...but she did a LOT of measuring. Good luck,.. it will look soooooooooo nice when you are done.

Like the floor. We ripped up our carpet and put down vinyl that looks like hardwood. Love the ease of maintenance. MS RetiredHappy is painting her cabinets and they look great. carold

love that floor, am planning on doing that to mine too, went to Home Depot and
priced out everything, it would take me 3 boxes. Hopefully I can do it next year.
