Wow, really, really nice. Is Southern Comfort the name of your new baby? When I clicked on it thought the discussion was about something else, LOL. When I'm parked I love my 30' rig - when I'm driving I wish she was a class B.

Yes karen Southern Comfort is her name. My oldest girlfriend named her. I had named her the Rolling Mothball and Lynn thought Southern Comfort fit her better so Southern Comfort became her name.

Rolling Mothball was because I had to keep mothballs in both my rig and my car to keep the squirrels out of the wires!! Anybody want squirrel stew? You can come gather them from my yard.

Hi Nan,
I looked at the pictures earlier and thought I posted lol - there goes my mind :)

I love the name - even if it does conjure up front porches and alcoholic beverages. And I really like your sofa. Wish mine was so cleanable - lol - Very nice looking and I have to agree about the "feet of fun" - what a great way to describe her - but if I steal the phrase (heavens be) will have to change mine to 22'.

Beth when I saw your rig in Ocala, think you have an actual bed inside, wish mine did. But converting the table to a single bed works for me. I do buy leather cleaner by the quart to be sure the couch stays nice and soft. LOL

You can use my phrase anytime.

I really do like that Lexington, have seen a few on the road and even did a
walk thru at an rv show a few months ago. Southern Comfort looks quite
comfortable. 8-)

Nan, I didn't know I needed the down bed - but now I'll probably always stay small - and have it. The other night I slept on the sofa - fell asleep on it and had it in bed mode to watch tv with my swollen feet up- and it's not bad - but just not the same as my bed.

However, if I wasn't full-timing, I don't think it'd be as important to me. And I do love yours, too. And I love that we have so many choices!

Her's is pretty Beth but I love the layout of your's. It's small with everything you need with out feeling all cramped.
With looking at different rigs, C's and TT's I keep wondering why I haven't come across something set up like your's??? You slide really adds a lot of roominess.
Kelly and I are saving all those flyers, info packets, catalogs, and floorplan booklets we had last summer. Figure by time we get around to being able to go full time we might be able to pick up a decent used one. And we have a few marked too that we really liked.
Ahhhhhh, if only we could win the lottery! HA

What a great rig! Plenty of space and I'll bet it gets pretty decent mpg too?

Cedar this one gets about 12 MPG, don't think that is real bad. Had a big SUV that only got 16, and it didn't have a bed and a potty.

It is easy to drive, easy to park, and have had many men tell me to be very slow about trading up to something larger, that I would have a lot more trouble and expense than this smaller model. So I have stuck with this one.

Nan, did I hear you say you had several MEN tell you that? Don't take their word for that - go test drive something larger if you're interested in larger. (Why am I not surprised it was men who said that.)

Now, I like small, and you know I do - but no man is going to tell me I won't like driving bigger - not until I try it for myself :)

Echo, actually there are a few others out there with almost the identical floorplan to mine - although most have a dinette instead of the sofa - and that takes away the spaciousness. One dealer told me they'd replace the dinette with a sofa if I would buy. Funny how they'll do just about anything for the sale.
