You've really done a complete rebuild on that TC! Looks completely different.

Thanks all. Been working on here since November...day and night. (literally) Every piece of framing, screws, walls, electrical wires, butal tape....almost EVERYTHING was replaced. We basically "built" a camper, not renovated one. Currently we are finishing up on making sure all the new appliances are in working order, then we will finish up the remaining cupboards and dinette...hang a few 70's decorating pieces, then she should be done.

I always wanted a "vintage" camper and when I saw this Amerigo, I was hooked. And who doesn't LOVE the 70's LOL Kinda ugly, but cool retro in a "mad men" kind of way. The 1970's cocktail shaker is ready for use.

Wow! Lots of work? Did you know how much work was needed on that when you bought it? Love the front bunk with the full window!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Yes... we knew how much work it was going to be. We knew it was a COMPLETE re-build. I had been following different threads on a different forum regarding truck campers and I knew I wanted one with a full hard roof. There were the Avions, but I wanted something that could sleep more. I fell into the Amerigos and fell in love immediately with the styling. With the "snap n nap" in the back that provided us with 2 additional sleeping spot for the kids.

This is great! I am doing something similar, though not as much of a total rebuild as yours. Your work here is inspiring. Thankfully, most of the framing and flooring in my 1984 20' Komfort, is still in good shape. The bathroom, which is located in the rear of the trailer was not so good. The entire floor had mostly rotted away under the vinyl flooring. I currently have the back skin off and most of the bathroom gutted. Trying to get the floor and reframing done before rain season hits here in Portland.

Thanks for posting your progress!
