Finished a couple more beaded pieces

Postby asirimarco » Tue Feb 12, 2013 5:00 pm

Posted a couple more beaded jewelry pieces on the blog - also more day to day information about living in Mazatlan, MX
Today is cloudy and very very windy - even got a few sprinkles - about 100 of them.
bill is helping our neighbor put up his awning before it blows away - ours is secured with tie downs - hope they hold. Miss the automatic awning in the Alfa - so much easier.

I sure enjoyed catching up with you two through your blog. I love to read it. I really like the bracelets. You are so talented. I want to learn how to do that.

I have missed some of your blogs lately but I will go back and start catching up...really enjoyed this one and you have a knack with narrative..good wit along with the info. I love your beadwork. I am playing around with necklaces and bracelets..so far I'm taking some of my old jewelry and remaking it into whatever comes to mind. It's very relaxing and therapeutic. Soon I will start quilting lessons, the old fashioned way, hand stitching. It might take me the rest of my life to finish one. My kids can fight over who has to take it...

Be careful or you'll have to join me on a corner holding up a sign that says "Need money to support my hobbies" and all of your family will run from you saying - no no I'd don't want another one. But I love quilting and miss it when on the road.
