Getting the red out

Postby Liz » Tue Nov 18, 2008 11:46 am

I've spent my computer time the last two days getting the red out of those little circles on the forum. I've read through all the wonderful posts I've missed while traveling this fall. I won't respond to them individually since most are so old, but did want to tell you all how much I enjoyed traveling...

with Chris through KS, OK, the desert and the San Diego zoo,

with Carol through IN & OH visiting covered bridges and old towns,

with Jenny down the WA and OR coasts,

with Janice on the campaign trail (especially liked the Obama Llama),

with Lori to all those interesting places in KY and AR,

to the POWWOW with Karen,

with Margie (Ms "B" Haven) on a whirlwind tour on her great blogsite,

to the beaches with the NakedPups and Molly too,

to the Catfish Pond with Nan,

on all of Sparkles many adventures and seeing the beautiful aspens in their golden glory,

with Marslet as we watched that puppy grow,

and many, many more...thank you all. I've laughed and cried and laughed again and really enjoyed it all.

Gosh Liz, I have been trying to be good and do some chores to catch up around here and you go and do this. I was saving my red's for afterwards, now, I'll have to let the chores go and catch up   . Glad I am free to do what I want.

I couldn't wait to see what the post was about - loved the title. Then had to laugh when I read it was about the forum. What a great thing to have done - and, yep, the adventures are wonderful.

Now, someone once mentioned starting the campfire post from scratch - that one might scare some people off - not necessarily off the forum - but off these wacko women :)

Every now and then I go back to some of the posts with the travels and pictures and reread them - it's not quite the same as going to the places, but it's awfully fun. We have our own tour book.

OH, now I see the red! I learn something new everyday on this forum. (too bad I can't figure out how to add a smiley face!)

Diana, when you're in the posting area, there are smily faces etc. to the right of your screen. Just click on which ever one you want and presto you have it. It WILL NOT show up as a smily face until its submitted and comes up on the forum though. Gosh, I am so pleased I have been able to help someone. I hope this is right, its the way I do it.

OH!

You taught me something new!!! I never noticed the red-to-blue conversion. Now, being a lifelong democrat, I'll have to read ALL the posts to turn them BLUE.

Another chore ...
