Please help prioritize my list

So....making plans here for move in day and my goal is to have the remodel done before I move in so that I'm not stepping over
and around "project stuff" and of course the projects can't all be done in one day, but which would you do first cause I'd like to
put my list in chronological order. My first thought is buy what I need before I move the rv to a live in space, then take that
first month to get it all done. Here's the list so far, and if you think I forgot anything, let me know.

Tires
repack wheel bearings while tires are off

Batteries
take pictures of the connections before removing
the old ones.

Replace toilet - (paint while toilet is out)

Strip wallpaper from kitchen

tile around stove and paint kitchen

rip out carpet in living area

install new floor

repairman for fridge

paint ceiling

paint livingroom

paint bathroom - finish stripping out wallpaper

paint bedroom

anode for the hotwater heater

ridx for the septic tank...tank is probably dry after sitting for two year, dump a good 5 gals of water
in the tank and add some ridx to start the bacterial process.

wash and wax the exterior

wash windows

Shed

Skirting....required by insurance for full time living

Just hope I'm not over thinking everything but while I'm at sons, the rent is free and so is food :D and after the move-in of course there will be a
whole different budget.

OMG that list alone makes me tired. I'm confused - did you buy a mobile home or is this what you're going to travel in when you retire. I got lost somewhere.

There is the labor list and the supply list....and then the but it is so pretty and I so deserve it list.... I know that the last list won't be too bad, or you wouldn't have made it to this wonderful place in time! :) But leave a little wiggle room in that list!

Karen, she has a 5th wheel she used to live in that is now in storage. I believe she is just planning to live in it again (stationery) and eventually get a Class C to travel around in occasionally.

I would think that painting first before redoing the floors would be a better idea, but I don't have a lot of experience with remodeling, so maybe someone else could chime in on that.

Sounds like a lot of work in a short amount of time. Will you have anyone helping you?

Karen, this is my fifthwheel I put in storage two years ago after I had lived in it for 4 years. Have been living with son for last two years and now that all the
debts are paid off will soon be getting it OUT of storage and putting it back in a space somewhere to live in again. :D ok, now your all caught up.
and Barbie is correct, I will be getting something else to do my travels in and leave the fifthwheel stationary.

the first part of the list are necessities...
Tires
repack wheel bearings while tires are off

Batteries
take pictures of the connections before removing
the old ones.

Replace toilet - (paint while toilet is out)

a shed is also a necessity but will only need a very small one and one that can be easily moved. I will get the shed and put it out by sons carport. Then,
as my budget permits, I will get the new toilet and the new batteries and store them in the shed. I have the new kitchen flooring already so I'll put
that in the shed too. Have the new livingroom flooring too but its too dark so I'll exchange for something else much lighter, and store that in the
shed as well. The tires are the most expensive so I will save up for those and get those just before we plan to move it. I guess your right, the rest
of the list is mostly labor so guess I can think that part out later.
Oh yea, putting this all down in print helps me think on it.

I think you have it pretty well ordered, but like Barbie said, paint before laying new flooring. Also, once you get your trailer set, I would go on and start the Ridx process as that takes a little while to work well... well maybe after you reseat the new toilet. The last 4 items are probably where they need to be.

The only thing I might move up toward the top of the list is the refrigerator if it is not working. That's something you'll want running when you move in...so right along with toilet, haha.

You amaze me, and I know you'll get it done, and I want to come see it next winter when I come west.

yes, the fridge is a concern. When it went out, I had done some research and the model was listed on the recall list. Thats all I can remember at this
point right now. Next time I go out there to take measurements and stuff I'll get the model # and do all that research again. If it falls under the recall
I'll get Genes RV Repair to take care of that. He's very reputable.
And yes, will get all the painting done before I put in the new floors. :D :D

[quote="avalen"] I will get the new toilet and the new batteries and store them in the shed. [quote]

I would question this decision to buy and store, especially the batteries. Your warranties will be running while you aren't using them.

Ditto about the batteries and warranties. Congratulations on the financial pay offs. That takes a lot of commitment. And you did it. Yeah!!

Well, I was gonna chime in with my opinion but everyone covered my opinion so I'm just gonna sit back and see the finished product! :D
