Thank you for your suggestions. We tried McDowell regional park, but they will not take reservations the day of and had on a couple spots....and they had no pull throughs. DH was itching to shoot clay pigeons so we are parked up at the Ben Avery shooting center. Owned and operated by the state. HUGE, new facility. The skeet and trap range have full hookups (w sewer) in a parking lot fashion. Lots of space between spots. The other side is the rifle side and they have a campground style place with back in spots with water and electric only. This is about 10 miles north of ASU. Nothing special, except we are out in the desert with nothing around, yet close to town to visit with friends and relatives
Bonus
While walking Tyler yesterday evening 6 hot air balloons launched from right across the street. It was so awesome. One of the other campers said they do it many nights if the wind is right. I hope they do it again tonight so I can get pictures.
