you know it doesn't take much to entertain people
thought that you might enjoy a song put loosely to Winter Wonderland
named
Quartzsite wonderland
Palm Trees sway, are you listening?
In the Rain, water's glistening
A warm sunny day, we like it that way
Living in a Quartzsite Wonderland
Gone away is the blizzard
Here to stay is the Lizard
A warm sunny day, we like it that way
Living in a Quartzsite Wonderland
In the desert we will have a picnic
Cactus, Sand and rattlesnakes and sun
Christmas dinner is a big tradition
with pinto beans and tacos by the ton
Later on we'll perspire
Temperatures rising higher
A warm sunny day, we like it that way
Living in a Quartzsite Wonderland
hoping you all enjoy

I just sang all the way through. Not something most would want to hear...

Okay, Sheila, now fess up and tell the truth! It ain't all warm sun and lazy lizards. Some of my coldest RV experiences (and wet ones, too) were in Q! And somewhere in my collection is a picture of a certain Snowball sitting all bundled up in winter coat with a blanket wrapped around her!

But she makes a mean Indian taco that warms you from inside out. And, of course, all that hot air we send out with all the talking we do helps. Let's hope this is one of those magical weather years. (But bring your warm woolies just in case!)

Cute song. I also "sang" it (in my head, thank goodness) all the way through.

In other words, let's hope we don't have a day like today.... brrrr. Yesterday was nice, tomorrow should be ok, today is downright COLD. At least the sun's out.

I am here in Quartzsite sitting in my trailer, the space heater is running full blast, the wind is blowing my awning, my feet are freezing even with my socks on, outside there are puddles of water here there and everywhere, wore my coat all day today as I was out, the "morning walk" with the gals was canceled due to inclement weather. Brrrrr I am sooooo cold...gonna hop in bed with my crossword puzzles and a nice hot cup of tea...and put my heating pad on my freezing feeties.....no self-respecting rattle snake would slither out in this weather. But the song is really a cute one and hope to sing it for real any day now...(in all truth...I don't mind it at all....it's all good, although I am starting to loose my tan...oh,no!)
