Fall Color Trip

Took off for a week to see some Fall color. Went to a Passport America park, Parkview Riverside RV Park, lon the Frio River. I had a site with the river right behind me, altho down a bank to get there. Sorry to say there wasn't much fall color. I never can seem to hit the right time; I'm either too early or too late. This was Baxter's first RV trip and the little guy did great. You would have thought he'd been RVing all his life. He's even getting Sophie to play, a little instead of her just sitting like a little lump waiting for someone to pet her. Met a nice couple next to me who made a fire every night and I sat with them so I didn't have to fuss with a fire. The park had some of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen and the people in the office were really nice. Except for having to carry your kayak down the hill to get to the water, it would be a great place to kayak up and down the Frio. I stayed five days and then went to Bandera to visit with Sharon (Sprinter) for one night. Sharon, Shirley, Kathy (friend of Sharon) and Birdie and me all sat outside around a chimanea (SP?) for a while. Left in the morning in a drizzly weather. Not sure I'm ready to be home yet. I really enjoy these short jaunts in my little rig, something I wouldn't have done in the big rig. Enjoy the pictures.
Walking path by the river.
Sniff, sniff, sniff.
Baxter had never seen such a big tree. He tried to pee all the way around but ran out.
Aren't we cute?
What a tough life. Walk, sniff, pee then nap on the bed. We're so abused.
and finally I had more color at home than actually saw on trip. They are Copper Canyon Daisies and they're full of butterflies.
