My sweetie left me for a better place.
Some of you will remember this picture, taken just a month or so before he got sick...
(it was our Hamburger Night)

((((((((Hugs Mitch))))))))) yes, I remember that night, at that time he was still the host, making sure we all had what we needed while at his home.
Memories are wonderful and in time, they are sweet, not as painful as first couple of yrs.

Aw, I sure do miss George. Carol was right, he was the perfect host, always trying to keep Mitch in line, like that was ever gonna happen! She'd say something mean to me and he'd fuss at her to be nice. Y'all made lots of good memories, had a wonderful marriage for many years and perfectly complimented each other, hugs to you Mitch.

It doesn't seem possible that a year has flown by already. It's not easy. Sending warm, fuzzy, hugs your way.

Dear Mitch you are so loved by all that know you as was George... I will never forget my wonderful visit with both of you... take a small bit of comfort in memories... hugs

I'm actually doing pretty well today. Better than I thought I would.
But then again - I'm on some pain pills for bad (as in painful) dental work,
and the little Beast is getting sick again. Probably spend another day/weekend at the vet's.
I hope she's doing it just to keep my mind off George!!
