Ok this will show our new comes that there is no questions that can't be asked
while at one of my friends on my trip I thought I love the colors in her bathroom and am thinking of using
them in my 5th especially in the bedroom
but I thought I want a dust ruffle on the bed have tried that once! it was a pain in the you know what when ever we
tried to get into the under the bed storage so removed it...so this is the question
how would you put a dust ruffle on so that it wouldn't be a pain in the you know what each time you wanted to access
the storage under the bed???
have a couple of ideas but not sure exactly so am asking you all then on top I want to put a quilt and I want to make the quilt
top myself...Me who has never made a quilt top my sister in law always rescues me so those that quilt give me ideas
of a easy but nice looking pattern really don't want just a nine block but saw one today that was a variation of a 9 block and I liked it
The colors she used was southwest sorta there was a red the red that the trees have but muted then oranges same thing and yellows and a bit of turquoise so pretty so want to pick up those colors

Could you use Velcro tape on the bed platform in sections. Like one for each side and one overlapping the end?

Then it would be easy to remove just the end to get to the underneath part.

my under bed storage is accessed by lifting the mattress therfore, I would attach the ruffle to the storage itself and not the mattress.

Velcro works well. My sis does that on a bed with drawers underneath. You just have to figure three best place for you to attach the Velcro.

I would detach the dust ruffle from the fabric that normally goes under the mattress since you don't want that covering the open storage area. Then I would attach the actual ruffle to the sides of the storage box with velcro. It would be sort of like those shoe storage skirts that some people attach to that area to store shoes.

In our 5th wheel I put the dust ruffle under the mattresses. I was still able to lift the wood to the storage area under the bed. The dust ruffle would shift around though so it was kind of a pain in the neck. I like the Velcro idea. If I do another dust ruffle, I think I will do that.

Dust ruffles are a major pain to put on and take off to wash them.

What made me think of this was the last one i bought for my bed in my condo. It came with a flat sheet thing that went between the mattresses, but then the actual dust ruffle was velcroed onto that so it was really easy to take off to wash. Got it from Company Store, but very expensive. I think you can adapt one for a lot less money.

Velcro was a lot better idea than anything I'd come up with thanks for the idea
